For some basic statistics on lake depth, size, temperature and formation see Fact & Fiction. For the totally data-obsessed there is a graph showing the height and fluctuation of the lake level over a recent 90-day period, historical graphs and daily gage data for the last fourteen years.

The Boating News page offers links to newspaper articles of interest to Lake Tahoe boaters.

Boating regulations created and enforced by the bi-state Tahoe Regional Planning Agency now ban certain watercraft engines on Lake Tahoe. Emergency Services lists all law enforcement agencies on the lake and how to contact them from your boat, the proper way to report an emergency or accident, and recommended medivac locations.
