The elegant 72' Consuelo, one of the first gasoline powered yachts on Lake Tahoe. Here she lies off the estate of original owner William S. Tevis with Mt. Tallac in the background, circa 1912. Purchased by George Newhall in 1915, she was destroyed by fire in his Rubicon Bay boathouse in 1920 (see related story).
