BOATING NEWS
Several issues which would affect boating at Lake Tahoe are currently making news and generating real controversy in the boating community here. One involves the bi-state Tahoe Regional Planning Agency's (TRPA's) Shorezone Plan, which proposes the most sweeping changes to shorezone regulations in many years. Another is the new requirement for boat inspections to prevent the introduction of invasive species into Lake Tahoe.
